ANNE BEVERLY SCHULTZ, 51, passed away July 23, 2022. She was the daughter of Barbara and Arthur Schultz
Born with special needs, Annie was lovingly cared for by her parents and raised with her
4 sisters. As a young child, many parish and community friends supported the
family in her participation in the Philadelphia Institute for Achievement of
Human Potential. Annie attended and graduated from the Quest School. As an
adult, she participated in day programs at the Ann Storck Center, Lucanus,
Three Hearts and finally shared life at Care Ambassadors home. She was baptized
at Nativity Church and received her First Communion at the Schott Center. She
and her mother attended the annual Faith and Sharing retreat in the diocese of
Saint Augustine for over twenty years. Annie also made a pilgrimage to Lourdes,
France with her mother and the Faith and Light community.
Annie enjoyed having people around her. She liked watching neighbors from her window
or from the front sidewalk. She enjoyed sitting by the pool in the sun, having
a snack. She loved riding her school bus. She most of all cherished time with
loved ones. Annie was known for her ability to communicate essential
feelings without words, for sparking joy in others, for her excited cries and
her laughter. If you met her and were gifted with her smile, your life is
better for it. In simple yet powerful ways, she helped others see what is most
important – love, kindness, patience, acceptance and joy.
Her memory lives in the hearts of her mother Barbara, her aunt Diana, her sisters
Diana, Marie, Christina and Amy and many aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, nephews,
nieces, and friends. She is pre-deceased by her father, Arthur.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 13, at Nativity
Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street,
Hollywood, followed by a reception at the family home.
