'72 passed peacefully on January 11, 2023.
Charlie was born on Sept 1,1950 in Miami FL. He grew up in Miami where he enlisted in the Army until 1977. Met his wife, Cecilia and married shortly after. Moved to Broward County to raise his family. Started his employment as a lineman with The City of Miami. He worked up to become THE union president for Local 1907 with the City of Miami General Employees. He Retired on September 3, 2010. (Celebrated as Charlie Cox Day with City of Miami) to enjoy family and his passion for fishing. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Cox of 47 years. His daughter, Jessica Joy Heywang (son in law, Chris Heywang). His son, Charles Parker Cox V. Grandchildren MacKenzie, Kyle, Jenna, Hayley, and Ryan.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21,2023 from 3pm-5pm at Landmark Funeral Home. 4200 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, Fl. 33021. Military recognition service will be held at 4pm.
