Following a viewing from 10:30 to 11:30 am on Saturday, April 30, at Valerie Panciera’s Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, James will be laid to rest in Lauderdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
JAMES MILLINGTON, 85, of Pembroke Pines, passed away April 16, 2022. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, James made his career touching and improving many lives as a teacher and social worker. He loved to read, travel and cook. He played hockey and golf as a young man (and was a huge Panther and Maple Leaf fan). His presence was well known and he would strike up conversations with anyone and everyone.
He is survived by Judith, his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, daughter Jennifer, her husband Timothy Griffin, granddaughter Katye Amirzadeh and her husband Tim, grandchildren Christopher, Justin, Matthew, Sarah and Haley and great grandchildren Zara and Leia.
