Jansew Sang, affectionately known as "Coco", passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 25, 2024.
A marvelous human being, Jansew will always be lovingly remembered for her strong faith, warm caring nature, and her quick wit. She had a kind soul, strong character, and friendly demeanor. She was dedicated to her family and friends, ensuring her mother was always well-cared for and supporting her loved ones through thick and thin. She was funny and intelligent, often referred to as a “human encyclopedia”.
She had a successful career in international business, using her ability to speak multiple languages and love of traveling to connect with people all over the world. She also spent her free time helping those less fortunate by participating in 5Ks for Feeding South Florida, preparing meals for the homeless through local church organizations, and promoting literacy and foreign language skills in her community.
She is pre-deceased by her father Anthony, and survived by her mother Milan, her elder sisters Reina and Jangliw, her brother Orosol, her niece Soleste, her brother-in-law James, her sister-in-law Amy, and many cousins.
She was uniquely wonderful to be around, and would bring a smile to your face every time you saw her. We will all miss her warm and loving presence dearly. In her own words, “I lived a good life.”
Jansew’s life will be honored at a service of family and friends on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 11:00 – 2:00 pm at Landmark Funeral Home followed by internment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.
