A life well lived is a precious gift of hope and strength and grace, from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place. It is filled with moments, sweet and sad with smiles and sometimes tears, with friendships formed and good times shared and laughter through the years. A life well lived is a legacy of joy and pride and pleasure. A living, lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure.
These words are so applicable to the life of Joan. She dedicated her life to the service of other people to bolster the strength, fortitude and happiness of anyone she encountered in life. As the cliche provides, "The apple never falls far from the tree" so was the relationship between Robert and Joan. Whoever met either Robert or Joan, that person left feeling brighter and happier from that interaction. The story of the city of Hollywood would be incomplete without the Henry team, not only as realtors but as true friends of the community itself, for many decades. Our community is now a lesser place without Joan and Robert in it. Although they are no longer with us physically, they will be with us in spirit and in memory forever, as an integral part of the community and the history of Hollywood. Yes, they are gone, but will never be forgotten. So then, this is not "goodbye" but rather, until we meet again.
