"With profound sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Groselle, a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and a friend to all those lives she touched. She left us while sleeping at her residence in Hollywood, Florida on June 30, 2023 at the age of 90.
She was born in Ontario, Canada on March 13, 1933. Margaret graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, then pursued a career in travel nursing. During her working travels she met Francis Groselle who was stationed with the US Navy in Hawaii. They fell in love and married on October 24, 1959 in Mary Hill, Canada. Margaret and Frank had 3 boys, Gary Groselle, Gregory Groselle, and David Groselle. She worked at Memorial Regional Hospital for 39 years. After retirement she enjoyed traveling with her Husband, children, and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Gary Groselle, her brothers James Rider and Joseph Rider, and sister Mildred Rider. She is survived by her Husband (Francis Groselle), her sons (Gregory Groselle and David Groselle), six grandchildren (Cheryl Diiulio, Logan Groselle, Kaitlyn Dvoran, Cassidy Groselle, Jaclyn Groselle, and Dylan Groselle), and four great grandchildren (Daisy Diiulio, Rocco Diiulio, Olive Diiulio, and Kora Dvoran) and many loving nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts
Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2023, 6:00pm - 9:00pm with a prayer service Thursday evening at Landmark Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday, July 7th, 11:00am at Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street, Hollywood.
