HERBERT C. SILVIOUS, 64, of Cooper City, passed away August 25, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Donna, his beautiful daughters, Erin (Kevin) Elmore and Lindsay Sanders, his beloved grandchildren Jimmy and Harley Sanders and Lawson Charles Elmore. He also leaves behind his brother Gerald, sisters Denise, Diane and Laura, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Geraldine Silvious.

He was a long time salesman for Crown Lift Trucks, where he built countless relationships within the community. Herb’s accolades include numerous salesperson of the year awards as well as the 2019 Momentum award for Branch Sales.

Herb was an enthusiastic stock car racing fan, and spent many Saturday nights at Hialeah Speedway working in the pits alongside his favorite drivers, Joe Winchell and Gerald Silvious. After the closing of Hialeah Speedway, his passion shifted to the musical talents of several local bands whom he followed religiously (Monster, The REGS, Shakey-T, and The Long Run with Gary Wayne, just to name a few). He enjoyed a good game of golf with several of his old Hialeah Miami Lake High School buddies and he never missed a school reunion, whether it was his graduating class or not!

Herb enjoyed spending time with family and friends sharing lots of laughs and a cold craft beer. He was often found sitting under the tiki hut with his good pal, Harry, sipping a cold one and watching various sporting events.

He will be sorely missed by so many, but will forever be in our hearts and memories.
