John Raymond Klatt, Jr., 68, of Pembroke Pines, passed away May 7, 2020. John was born in 1951 in Wheeling, WV to Darlyn Groggett Klatt and the late John Raymond Klatt. Beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, John was loved everywhere he went. Those who knew him benefited from his work ethic, his skills, his love of helping people, and his great laugh. People he encountered, whether just briefly or as friends and family, were always better off for having known him. John loved music, which was a big part of his life. He was a talented musician and played many instruments, especially keyboards and drums. John was a master certified small engine mechanic and electrician, and for decades he was a highly skilled Audio Technician for television. He worked on countless commercials, studio shows, and all South Florida sports. As an “A2” he worked several Super Bowls, two World Series, and many NBA Playoff games. John was highly respected by his co-workers. He loved his job and the people he worked with. At home, he enjoyed barbecuing, and gardening. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.
