Viewing is Sunday, November 7, from 2pm to 5pm at Valerie Panciera’s Landmark Funeral Home. Following a Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, November 8, at 11:00am at St. Helen Catholic Church in Lauderdale Lakes, Joseph will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn North Cemetery.

JOSEPH ALLOCCA, 103, of Hollywood, passed away November 3, 2021. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Joseph proudly served in the United States Army during World War II, receiving a Bronze Star for his heroism. He was also the Grand Knight of Archbishop John Hughes Council of the Knights of Columbus in Brooklyn. Joseph subsequently became an accountant for AMF Bowling Products in Long Island.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary and is survived by his two sons Frank (Margarita) of Hollywood, William of Marietta, Georgia and daughter-in-law Susan of Marietta, Georgia, five grandchildren Katie (Nick), Kevin (Vanessa), Kim (Jon), Kristine (Matt) and Joey (Marjie), and six great grandchildren.
