Mary Kehoe Wernersback; loving wife, Mother and Mimi, passed away peacefully on December 15th surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by William Wernersback, her loving husband of 54 years, her parents Gerald and Rachel Kehoe and her brother Michael Joseph Kehoe. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Montgomery (Mark), her sons, Andrew Wernersback (Stephanie) and Michael Wernersback (Alyssa), her brother Peter Kehoe (Patti), her grandchildren, Ryan and Lindsay Montgomery, her sister-in-law Barbara Montrowl (Joe), nephews Jason, Chris and Steve, along with cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in the Bronx NY in 1942. At the age of four, she contracted tuberculosis that spread to her bones requiring spinal fusion surgery and a year-long recovery in the hospital. The surgery was successfully performed on the Feast Day of Our Lady Fatima. It is believed she was the first child to survive this type of surgery and she fully credits her recovery to the prayers offered for her. She has thus been devoted to the Virgin Mary and the Catholic Church throughout her life.

She and Bill moved to Hollywood in 1971 where they raised their family and became very active members of Nativity Catholic Church. She loved her Church, being a mother and grandmother, spending time with family, traveling (especially to Ireland!) and painting with her friends. It gave her so much joy to create gifts and to give them to friends and family.
