Mike, I am truly happy that I met you, also known as our ‘Funny cousin Mike’. You stayed with us a few years ago, and the house was filled with laughter and singing with you there. You instantly became close family. I will never forget how I shared with you that I would like to make a trip to Guyana, and you immediately said that you would be my tour guide whenever I decided to go, just give you a ring. You left us too soon; I thought that I would get to see you more and I was looking forward to this time. You were a joy to be around and lightened up a room with your smile, laugh and jokes, and I will treasure the short time we got to spend together. Now we will miss you forever. Rest In Peace Mike.

Mike was the first nephew after three nieces and he was loved by all. He was always joyful. He never said a bad word about anyone. He was always very thoughtful and happy and upbeat no matter what he was going through. On our trips to Florida he always made time to see me and insisted on bringing a Guyanese dish or treat from one of his favourite restaurants, even if I said not to take the time or don't worry about bringing anything - he did with that boyish laugh. He took the time to visit us in Freeport on a few treasured occasions including my 80th and 85th birthdays and of course he was the life of the party. I remember him always singing. I will greatly miss our telephone conversations and his laughter. His sudden death came as a great shock as we always thought he was going to beat cancer. When I spoke to him on Thursday I didn't know that would be the last time. We know that he is now resting where pain and suffering are no more. He will always be dearly missed by our whole family. With lots of love always, Aunty Brenda Until we meet again.

I can't believe you've left us , Mike, my heart hurts thinking about it. I will miss your smile, your humour, your love of the old songs of 'back-in-the-day, your thoughtfulness and kindness. Most of all our conversations. You will live in my heart always. Rest in Peace in his everlasting arms. Jackie

My Dearest Michael... Somehow a mistake was made, you were not supposed to leave us in such an untimely and unexpected way.... You had many more vacations to spend with us in GT, many more Oldies to dance and many more karaoke to sing.... We did not get to say goodbye... My dear brother, know that you were loved dearly, I couldn't have asked for a better big brother.... and I thank you for that.... You would never be forgotten... May God take you into his Care and shower you with his Richest Blessings..... Until we meet Again..... I love you and Always will. Sally
