Raymond E. Williams was born on October 6, 1959 in Peekskill NY to Julia and Elliott Williams. Raymond was an artist and perfectionist as a skilled painter and carpenter, who created joy and happiness in projects he took on and completed. Raymond was an honorable and charming man whose philosophy was to keep moving from one level of success to another, finding new and greater goals and seeing them gratified. His personality and talents made Raymond well known and loved in his hometown. Educated in the Peekskill NY school system. What made Raymond so special was his intelligence and natural skills, things that are not found in a book. He was truly gifted. Raymond was a very adventurous man who enjoyed the outdoors. Whether it was camping, fishing, swimming or bike riding, it didn’t matter. If it was in the water or on the land, he enjoyed the great outdoors in every way he could from coast to coast. Raymond loved his family. He did his best, whether it be long distance bakery treats for Mom or a call just to say hello. As a father he loved with all of him. Jasmin, little Ray and Jewels are his legacy of love, life and happiness. Raymond was preceded in death by his grandmother Ruth Williams, father Elliott Youngblood Williams, Stepfather Samuel Ralph Dean (Daddy Dean), Sister’s Aileen W. Fredrick, Melissa J. Shelton and Nephew Orlando Luke Robles. Raymond will be missed by his children Jasmin Lopez, Raymond Williams, Jewels Williams and five grandchildren Jaden, Jordan, Chloe, Tramell Jr and Landon; mother Julia Dean; brothers and sisters Sherry-Ann Sharp, Elliott Y Williams Jr, Laura Myers, Ralph Watts, Cathleen Dean, Patricia Dean, Samuel Dean; Nieces Jamie, Dina, Victoria, Natasha, Amanda, Sierra, Caitlyn, Dasja and Cheyanne; Nephews Brandon, Elliott Jr, Sean, Ralph Jr, Zamari and Da’ron and a host of great nieces and nephews, friends, relatives and neighbors.
