A celebration of her life will be held at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, FL 33021 on Thursday, October 7th from 5 pm to 8 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Virginia's life. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to "American Cancer Society".

VIRGINIA LEE MIGACZ, born Virginia Lee Britton died peacefully in the hospital on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the age of 83.

Virginia is survived by her three children, Shaun Woodburn and his wife Yaimi in Atlanta, GA, Shannon Cunningham and her husband Sean in Hollywood, FL and Louis Migacz and his wife Laura in Maggie Valley, NC. She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Donovan, Colton, Conner, Christine and Ryan. Her siblings, Neil Vegliante, Charlene Rosenfarb, Barbara Britton and Denise Kobyashi.

Virginia was born on November 1, 1937, in Miami Beach, Florida to Robert Britton and Virginia Vegliante. She attended the University of Miami, University of Florida and FIU where she achieved her master’s degree in social work. She worked for Broward County Elderly and Veteran Services for 21 years where she lent her heart as well as her services to so many individuals..

Virginia was accomplished in her work and always put others before herself. She was a dedicated individual who loved life and was passionate about lending a helping hand wherever it was needed. Her clients were her family and it showed throughout her career and thereafter. She had a youthful soul and loved always having people around. Her door was always open and her compassion was unmistakable.
